APO holds Showcase

This weekend the APO Academy’s 2009 Music Theatre graduates present their showcase at the Beckett Theatre.

The showcase is the culmination of an intense year of training for the 22 students who feature in the academy’s first graduation showcase.

APO Executive Director Chris Apostolidis says, “In the 15 years of our existence, APO has always strived to help students grow as people and therefore as performers.”

In an industry where there simply aren’t enough jobs for the people who deserve them, these graduates know they have a tough road ahead. But, by the show they gave tonight, I know they have a pretty good chance of making it and look forward to seeing their faces on stages and names in programs.

The APO academy runs course in dance, acting and music theatre and auditions for 2010 courses close soon. Visitwww.apoartsacademy.com.
