Annie to return to Sydney?

AussieTheatre.com believes that a production of the musical Annie is slated to open in Sydney in early 2012.

The exact details of the production are still unknown at this time but it is believed it will tour to both Brisbane and Melbourne at the conclusion of the Sydney season.

Annie was most recently produced in Australia by the Gordon/Frost organisation in 2000/2001 with Anthony Warlow as Daddy Warbucks. The production included a brand new song (Why Should I Change a Thing) written for specifically for Warlow. It was considered a critical and commercial success.

We look forward to bringing you more information as it comes to hand.
