All the World’s a Stage for International Day of Disability

Sydney’s Willoughby City Council and Lance Cove Council will present All the World’s a Stage on November 28 to celebrate International Day of People with Disability 2012.

All the World’s a Stage

The unique theatrical production provides residents with disability the opportunity to perform in a state of the art theatre and express themselves creatively.

All the World’s a Stage will feature six performances from Marion Street Theatre, The Cromehurst School, Different Degrees Theatre Group, St Lucy’s School, Cerebral Palsy Alliance and KICK Performance Group.

International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD) is a United Nations sanctioned day which brings together individuals, businesses, community organisations and governments to celebrate and acknowledge the contributions, skills, and achievements of people with disability. It raises awareness of the benefits of integrating people with disability into every aspect of political, social, economic and cultural life.

This is an important event for inclusivity and diversity within the arts.
