Adelaide Fringe Event Registrations are open for 2023

Established and emerging artists from all over the world are invited to explore the amazing opportunities provided by Australia’s biggest arts festival, Adelaide Fringe.

Adelaide Fringe offers those presenting events at the five-week festival an opportunity to find new audiences, an arts marketplace to leverage future bookings and a dedicated team of staff to assist with their participation at Fringe.

This year, Adelaide Fringe is excited to announce a new genre, Eat & Drink. This new genre aims to encourage South Australia’s thriving hospitality scene to partake in Fringe while increasing the ability for regional venues such as wineries, restaurants and eateries to get involved in the fun. This additional category has been introduced following an increase in event registrations in past years that included a food and beverage component.

Adelaide Fringe Director and CEO Heather Croall:

Each year Adelaide Fringe provides an opportunity for artists and participants to access the largest ticket buying audience at a festival in Australia.

We offer a range of platforms and opportunities to make sure that artists and participants at any level have the support they need to run a successful event at Adelaide Fringe.

The open access nature of Adelaide Fringe means that anyone can register a show, and as a result Fringe cultivates experimentation and acts as an incubator for new art while offering a global audience to all participants.

Adelaide Fringe offers a launchpad for emerging artists backed by a world class marketplace for those looking to build careers in the arts. The Honey Pot program offers artists who opt in to the program access to industry networking events, showcasing their shows to creative  industries leaders across the globe.

The 2022 Adelaide Fringe attracted almost 6000 artists across 1195 events covering a wide range of genres across circus, cabaret, theatre, comedy, childrens and more.

Registrations for 2023 Adelaide Fringe events and venues are open now, with the print deadline to have events listed in the iconic Adelaide Fringe guide October 20, 2022.

The 2023 Adelaide Fringe will run from 17 February to 19 March 2023.
