A Perfect Night Out, Perth

Eddie Perfect is a Helpmann Award-winning comedian, composer and performer, (Offspring, Shane Warne The Musical), and he is appearing tonight at Perth’s Astor Theatre in his latest darkly satirical musical Misanthropology.

“Oh Eddie Perfect … dammit, you are.” – Anne-Marie Peard, from her review of Misanthropology.
Eddie Perfect is a Helpmann Award-winning comedian, composer and performer, (Offspring, Shane Warne The Musical), and he is appearing tonight at Perth’s Astor Theatre in his latest darkly satirical musical Misanthropology. Described by The Australian “razor sharp” Perfect cheerfully tears apart the failures and limitations of the human race in all its resplendent idiocy. Despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary, humans consider themselves to be pretty great, thank-you very much. In her review of the show’s Melbourne season, AussieTheatre.com’s Anne-Marie Peard said:
“Misanthropology may be the wankiest show title around, but not to worry because everyone will reccomend Eddie Perfect…because musical cabaret doesn’t get much slicker than this.” Featuring a top-notch trio of backing musicians, Misanthropology cheerfully tears this notion apart, exploring the failings, idiocy and boredom of humans festering in the Western Developed World as they smash their empty heads against the glass ceiling of evolution.
Sound funny? It is!
Eddie Perfect is arguably Australia’s finest exponent of comedy cabaret and with sell out shows in the East, what a perfect place to experience his latest show Misanthropology than at the Astor theatre. This will be a show not to miss! For more information, see www.bocsticketing.com.au
