SENIOR MEMBERSHIP ENGAGEMENT COORDINATOR

VPS 4.1: $92,332 per annum + 11.5% superannuation

Full Time, Fixed Term for 2 years

The National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) is seeking a Senior Membership Engagement Coordinator to plan and deliver engagement initiatives that cultivate the NGV Members community, including acquisition and retention and stakeholder engagement and events.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

You will work with the Head of Customer Service to provide strategic direction on NGV Membership initiatives that enable the acquisition and retention of new and existing Members and other opportunities. Other key responsibilities include:

• Drawing upon existing experience to develop, execute and evaluate campaigns or other initiatives to maximise NGV Membership, including developing proposals, reports, and presentations
• Positioning NGV Members as a key audience in the long-term strategic planning of the organisation
• Representing NGV at Members events and engage with NGV Members through relevant communications
• Managing and mentoring NGV Members staff to maintain a high level of service, including providing individual and team performance feedback.

To be successful, you will have extensive experience in developing and evaluating a range of strategies specific to engaging and representing a membership group, along with high level stakeholder engagement skills that building strong member relationships, influencing acquisition and retention.

You plan and review work based on what is important to achieve, rather than what tasks are usually done. You can identify or develop overall team goals and link strategies and actions required to achieve these goals.
