Be part of a unique, creative team! Design and deliver the marketing and communications plan for the City of Darebin’s Arts portfolio, including its performing arts, festivals and visual arts services. This role will lead a cohesive, accessible and customer-centric brand and promotional strategy for Darebin Arts.

About the Role The Creative Culture & Economic Development Department is united by the purpose to connect communities for creativity and prosperity.
The Creative Culture portfolio includes Darebin’s FUSE Festival, Speakeasy performing arts program, Bundoora Homestead art gallery, and a number of premier arts and civic venues.
This position provides integral support to the Creative Culture team through the delivery of a dynamic marketing and communications strategy under the ‘Darebin Arts’ brand.
- Oversee the strategic marketing plans for the diverse service areas that make up ‘Darebin Arts’.
- Design and deliver a cohesive approach to branded collateral, including digital and printed materials
- Manage Darebin Arts website, social media pages and other digital platforms
- Undertake a Darebin Arts Customer Deep Dive and Impact Reporting Framework
- Build strong relationships with the sector and the media to grow the reach of our venues and services.
- Lead and manage the Marketing Team to provide an organisational culture based on Council values.
Skills & Experience
- Experience in marketing, branding, communications or equivalent role.
- Proven experience in delivering marketing campaigns to positive results.
- Advanced communication, grammar, and copywriting skills.
- Strong digital literacy including familiarity with design software and experience in social media management.
- Experience in team leadership and fostering an inclusive and flexible team environment
