Job Opportunity: Interior Designer/Architectural Draftsperson
We are seeking a talented interior designer and/or an architectural draftsperson to join our growing team.
As a key member of our interior design team, you will play an integral role in delivering community infrastructure projects, education and early learning facilities, aged living developments, as well as a wide range of government and commercial initiatives. Our projects are primarily in the Canberra region with a growing number across Australia.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement design concepts that meet clients’ needs and expectations.
- Create CAD models, hand sketches, and mood boards.
- Select and specify materials, finishes, colours, furniture, and FFE.
- Prepare and present design proposals to clients.
- Collaborate with the project team, having a positive attitude.
- Assist on projects from concept to completion, being mindful of program and budget.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and industry developments.
About you
We are looking for a supportive and proactive individual who can offer the following to the role:
- Advanced diploma or bachelor’s degree in interior design (or a related field).
- At least 2 years of experience in interior design or as a draftsperson.
- Proficiency in Revit. (required)
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively.
- Be curious and proactive to continuously investigate and learn.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Must be Canberra based.
- Must hold right to work in Australia.
