Fender Katsalidis is seeking talented Experienced Graduate of Architecture to join our Sydney team.
We’re an award-winning architectural firm with offices in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane and landmark developments across Australia and Asia. We’ve designed Melbourne’s tallest, most recognisable pair of buildings, the soon-to-be second-tallest skyscraper in the world and the largest private museum in the Southern Hemisphere, among others.

Our successful candidate will, as an Experienced Graduate of Architecture, engage in activities that include using 3D BIM Revit technology as well as ArchiCAD to prepare architectural documentation, sections, and elevations, ensuring all planned architectural deliverables are met for clients and stakeholders within timeframes. In addition, the experienced graduate will collaborate with project team members to conceptualise and develop project design ideas. Working as part of a dynamic team, they will report to a Project Leader on day-to-day project tasks and responsibilities.
In more specific terms you shall be responsible for:
- Demonstrating timely and focused collaboration with relevant project team members at all levels;
- Acquiring knowledge of and committing to project deliverables, quality standards and timeframes for delivery;
- Preparing and editing sketches, plans and working drawings of sections, elevations and specifications;
- The effective use of Revit, ArchiCAD (training provided), Photoshop, Indesign, Lumion and other relevant software packages appropriate to his role and project commitments;
- Maintaining appropriate lines of communication with leadership personnel;
- Adhering to all relevant QA and office standards in the execution of your work; and
- Complying with all component of the contract of employment and employment policy guidelines;
- Researching, understanding and complying with relevant building codes and standards, including safe design principles.
This exciting career opportunity is a permanent, full-time role.
Applicants should be suitably qualified, with a Master of Architecture or equivalent education, have over 2-3 years experience in a professional environment (Revit).
