About the role

An exciting opportunity is available for Box Office Attendants on casual basis with a start date of mid-October 2024.

A dynamic and diverse role, you will undertake the day-to-day ticketing operations of the MSO including answering incoming calls, responding to customer enquiries via email, ticket relocations and outbound calling. You will provide superior customer service to all MSO customers and support the wider Sales/Marketing team.

Reporting to the Customer Experience Manager and Team Leaders, you will work rosters primarily Monday to Friday with guaranteed 7-hour (weekday) shifts. In addition, there may be some evening and weekend box office work available at event venues.

The successful applicants will possess the following:

  • Experience providing superior customer service
  • Experience in Daily Box Office operations
  • Experience with event set up and support
  • Strong administrative skills using Word and Excel
  • Experience and knowledge of the Tessitura CRM system would be desirable
  • Understanding of the dynamics of working for a performing arts organisation
  • Interest or background in classical music
