ABOUT THE EMPIRE FOUNDATION

The Empire Foundation, established in 2010, plays a pivotal role in fostering youth arts development in the Toowoomba region. Since its inception, the Foundation has awarded over 500 youth bursaries to young artists, who have made significant strides in their respective disciplines, contributing to the rich cultural fabric of the region. Empire Theatres Foundation Ltd trustee for Empire Theatres Foundation is a controlled entity of Toowoomba Regional Council.

THE EMPIRE FOUNDATION IS SEEKING EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST FOR THOSE SEEKING TO JOIN AS A BOARD DIRECTOR. 

Successful applicants are expected to have skills/experience/qualifications in one or more of the following:

  • Expertise in youth/performing arts
  • Experience in fundraising/sponsorship
  • Governance, risk and compliance
  • Increasing the cultural capacity of the region
