Position Overview

We are seeking a Melbourne-based, motivated and organized Agents’ Assistant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will provide day-to-day administrative support to the heads of various departments, handle invoicing, calendar management, arranging opening night gifts, marketing via social media and MailChimp. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for the arts and a desire to build a career in arts management.

Key Responsibilities

·      Provide administrative support to two department heads across Theatre and Creative departments.

·      Manage invoicing and ensure timely payments.

·      Calendar management, covering invoicing deadlines, arranging opening night gifts, submissions for Music Theatre and theatre projects.

·      Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and databases.

·      Handle correspondence and communication with clients and stakeholders.

·      Marketing MKM clients with guidance from department heads via MailChimp and social media

Required Qualifications

·      Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

·      Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

·      Technically savvy and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, ability and willingness to learn       relevant software

·      Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.Preferred Qualifications

·      Social media / Marketing experience

·      Proficiency in relevant software: InEntertainment Database, HelloChimp/MailChimp, HelloSign/ Dropbox Sign

·      Bachelor of Arts, Arts Management, Arts Administration, or previous experience in an arts administration role.

·      Knowledge of the performing arts industry and its operations.
