Titan Comics will bring Gregory Maguire’s Oz to the graphic-novel shelf this autumn with Wicked: The Graphic Novel – Part 1, arriving in UK bookstores on 21 October 2025.
Illustrated by acclaimed artist Scott Hampton, the 176-page edition re-imagines Maguire’s 1995 novel, restoring its darker political edge and giving fans a vivid visual journey through the life of Elphaba. The story traces the green-skinned heroine from her troubled childhood to her radical awakening at Shiz University, where she challenges the Wizard’s oppressive regime and earns the notorious title “Wicked Witch of the West.”
