Reeve Carney and Eva Noblezada
Hadestown takes us way down to the roots of theatre – Greek Mythology.
The show is a contemporary retelling of the ancient myth of Orpheus and Eurydice, transporting the characters into a post-apocalyptic Jazz-infused version of Thrace. Hadestown premiered in Vermont in 2006, and was slowly but surely reworked into the show we know today. The newer stage adaptation premiered at New York Theatre Workshop in 2016, and opened on the West End in 2018 and Broadway in 2019.
One of the show’s more popular duets has now been recorded with a full music video, starring leads Reeve Carney (Spiderman: Turn off The Dark, The Rocky Horror Picture Show) and Eva Noblezada (Miss Saigon, Les Miserables). Check out the track below!
