Watch Australia’s Naomi Price in the 10th anniversary concert of Yank! A WWII Love Story

After 10 years the cast of the Off-Broadway production of Yank! A WWII Love Story reunited for a celebratory concert at New York’s Feinstein’s/54 Below.

Yank! A WWII Love Story is a musical with books and lyrics by David Zellnik and music by Joseph Zellnik. The story follows a timid Midwestern boy Stu who gets drafted for World War II in 1943. There he becomes a photographer for Yank Magazine which chronicles stories for the servicemen. The musical navigates what it means to be a man in the 1940’s and highlights the experience of falling in love through tough times.

The original Off-Broadway production began preview performances at the York Theatre on February 16th 2010 and opened on February 24th.

The 10 year anniversary of this production was celebrated with a special concert at Feinstein’s/54 Below with songs and scenes performed by members of the Off-Broadway cast, led by Bobby Steggert, Nancy Anderson, Jeffry Denmn, Tally Sessions, Joseph Medeiros, Todd Faulkner, Denis Lambert and Ivan Hernandez. The original cast were also joined by guest performers from international productions of the show including Australia’s very own Naomi Price
