The Time Traveller’s Wife set to open in London’s West End

London’s West End is set to welcome The Time Traveller’s Wife: The Musical following its world premiere at Chester Storyhouse.

The Apollo Theatre will host the show from November 1, 2023, with previews beginning on October 7, 2023. The production is scheduled to run until March 30, 2024, featuring original music by Joss Stone and Dave Stewart. Henry is a time traveler, which means he has a genetic disorder that causes him to involuntarily time travel to different points in his life. He first meets Clare when she is a young girl, and he appears to her as an adult man. As the years pass, Henry and Clare continue to cross paths at different times in their lives, even though Henry is never sure when he will time travel or where he will end up.

The novel has been praised for its unique concept, its exploration of love and relationships, and its poignant exploration of the nature of time. It has been adapted into a film and a television series.

David Hunter and Joanna Woodward will star as Henry and Clare, respectively, with additional casting details to be announced.
