The Muppets are bound for Broadway this holiday season, joining world-renowned illusionist Rob Lake for ROB LAKE MAGIC WITH SPECIAL GUESTS THE MUPPETS. Performances begin at the Broadhurst Theatre on 28 October, with opening night on 6 November. The limited engagement runs through 18 January 2026.
In the production, Rob Lake will share the stage with Kermit the Frog and a host of beloved Muppet friends. Blending large-scale illusions with the Muppets’ signature wit, the show promises family-friendly spectacle for the festive period.
“I have been performing magic my entire life, and it has always been my greatest dream to perform my show on Broadway,” said Rob Lake. “Like so many people around the world, I grew up with The Muppets. To work with them and create new illusions for them to appear in my show has been the most rewarding and surprisingly familiar moment. It feels like I have known them my entire life.”
Creative roles on the production include Bethany Pettigrew as creative consultant and Kevin Zak as script consultant.
Often dubbed the World’s Greatest Illusionist, Rob Lake has appeared on AMERICA’S GOT TALENT and toured live across more than 60 countries. His illusion design and consultancy credits include work for WALT DISNEY IMAGINEERING, ADELE’s Las Vegas residency, and the Broadway productions ALADDIN and DEATH BECOMES HER.
Further casting, performance schedules and ticket information will be announced by the production.
