The Book of Mormon has reached a significant milestone, celebrating 4000 performances in the West End. To mark this occasion, a set of behind-the-scenes photos has been released, offering fans a glimpse into the show’s inner workings.
Performed at the Prince of Wales Theatre, the show continues its successful run in the same venue where it premiered in the UK in 2013.
The Book of Mormon, penned by Trey Parker, Robert Lopez, and Matt Stone, follows the journey of an unlikely pair of Mormon missionaries sent to Uganda. The creative team for the West End production includes co-directors Parker and Casey Nicholaw (who also serves as choreographer), set designer Scott Pask, costume designer Ann Roth, lighting designer Brian MacDevitt, and sound designer Brian Ronan. Hair design is by Josh Marquette, with orchestrations by Larry Hochman and Stephen Oremus, music supervision and vocal arrangements by Oremus, musical direction by Colm O’Regan, and dance arrangements by Glen Kelly.
As the show continues to captivate audiences, these behind-the-scenes photos celebrate the dedication and hard work that have contributed to its enduring success.
