The phenomenon that is Hamilton continues its reign, with an exciting new cast set to take the stage for the musical’s 2025 UK tour. The Pulitzer Prize-winning show about Alexander Hamilton and the founding fathers of the USA remains a box office sensation in London’s West End, where it is currently booking into autumn 2025.
The UK tour, which kicks off on 20 January 2025 in Cardiff, will showcase a mix of fresh faces and seasoned performers. Headlining the cast is Marley Fenton, the 2024 Black British Theatre Award-winner, as Alexander Hamilton. Billy Nevers, currently performing as Marquis de Lafayette/Thomas Jefferson, will step into the role of Aaron Burr.
Eliza Hamilton will be portrayed by Roshani Abbey, reprising her West End role until 25 March, with Casey Al-Shaqsy taking over from 26 March. Joining them are Chasity Crisp as Angelica Schuyler, Ashley J Daniels as Marquis de Lafayette/Thomas Jefferson, and Shak Mancel James as John Laurens/Philip Hamilton. Naomi Katiyo will bring dual roles to life as Peggy Schuyler and Maria Reynolds, while Louis Maskell will step into the regal shoes of King George.
KM Drew Boateng and Akmed Junior Khemalai will continue their respective roles as Hercules Mulligan/James Madison and George Washington. The production also welcomes a host of new ensemble members, including Jonathan Andre, Imogen Rose Hart, and Sydney Spencer, who will join a cast featuring returning performers such as Simeon Beckett and Samantha Shuma.
Directed by Thomas Kail and featuring choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler, Hamilton has been a cultural touchstone since its Broadway debut. With music, lyrics, and book by Lin-Manuel Miranda, and musical supervision by Alex Lacamoire, the production has earned its place as one of the most celebrated musicals of all time. Its revolutionary blend of hip-hop, R&B, and traditional musical theatre continues to captivate audiences worldwide.
The UK tour will visit major cities, including Bradford, Southampton, Liverpool, Sunderland, Plymouth, Norwich, and Glasgow, bringing the story of ambition, love, and legacy to new audiences.
