Liza Minnelli, the renowned EGOT-winning performer, is set to release her memoirs through Grand Central Publishing in the spring of 2026. The autobiography will be available in hardcover print, e-book, and audio editions, and will offer a candid look at Minnelli’s life, both professionally and personally.

The memoir will detail her journey from childhood, growing up as the daughter of iconic stars Judy Garland and Vincente Minnelli, to her breakout successes in Cabaret and Liza With a Z. It will also cover her marriages and struggles with substance abuse.

Contributing to the memoir are Pulitzer Prize winners Heidi Evans and Josh Getlin, along with Minnelli’s longtime friend, Grammy-nominated recording artist Michael Feinstein. The audio edition will feature exclusive autobiographical recordings and reflections that Minnelli and Feinstein have been working on for the past 15 years.

Minnelli was inspired to write her memoir after experiencing several public misrepresentations of her life, including a sabotaged Oscars appearance and inaccurate portrayals in film and television. This autobiography aims to set the record straight and share her story directly with her fans.

Grand Central Publishing is thrilled to bring Minnelli’s memoir to the public, recognizing the significance of her unique place in entertainment history. Minnelli, who has had an illustrious career on Broadway and beyond, including multiple Tony Awards and other accolades, continues to inspire and captivate audiences worldwide.
