The stellar cast of ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’ includes Ian McIntosh, known for ‘Beautiful: The Carole King Musical’, as Jesus, alongside Shem Omari James from ‘Dreamgirls’ as Judas, and Hannah Richardson of ‘The Last Ship’ fame as Mary. The production also features Ryan O’Donnell from ‘Mandela’ as Pilate, with Jad Habchi of ‘Dirty Dancing’ portraying Caiaphas, and Matt Bateman from ‘Pretty Woman’ as Annas.

Clary is set to take on the role of Herod at select performances in Bromley in late February, Bristol in mid-March, Southampton in late March, and in Llandudno and Southend in early July. His appearances are scheduled from Thursdays to Saturdays at each of these locations.

The ensemble cast boasts a diverse range of talents, including Jasmine Jules Andrews, Pàje Campbell, Louise Francis, and many others, contributing to the show’s rich tapestry of performances.

‘Jesus Christ Superstar’, with lyrics by Tim Rice and music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, delves into the final weeks of Jesus Christ’s life, seen through the eyes of Judas. Timothy Sheader’s production, which debuted at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre in 2016, has enjoyed widespread acclaim, including a return to the Barbican in 2019 and a socially-distanced run at Regent’s Park in 2020.

This production is renowned for its dynamic choreography by Drew McOnie, striking design by Tom Scutt, and captivating lighting by Lee Curran. Sound design is masterfully handled by Nick Lidster, with Tom Deering overseeing musical supervision.

The current tour of ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’ is playing in Bradford, with scheduled stops in 2024 across various UK cities including Nottingham, Ipswich, Cardiff, Edinburgh, and many others. Additional tour dates are anticipated to be announced, offering more opportunities for audiences to experience this iconic musical.
