Heathers the Musical is shaking things up with its newest cast starting February 21st London! Get ready to be wowed by the talented ensemble, led by Miracle Chance as Veronica Sawyer, Ellis Kirk as JD, and Olivia Barnett-Legh as Heather Chandler.
Joining them on stage are Kia Paris Walcott as Heather Duke, Katharine Pearson as Heather McNamara, Katie Ramshaw as Martha Dunnstock, Will Breckin as Kurt Kelly, and Cristian Zaccarini as Ram Sweeney.
The talented cast also features Rachel Breeze as Ms. Fleming, Alexander Service as Ram’s Dad/Big Bud Dean/Coach, and Alexander McMorran as Kurt’s Dad/Veronica’s Dad/Principal.
In this musical, high school student Veronica Sawyer finds herself falling into the wrong crowd when she becomes friends with the popular “Heathers” clique and grows close to JD, played by Ellis Kirk. With music and lyrics by Laurence O’Keefe and Kevin Murphy, including hit songs like “Seventeen,” “Big Fun,” and “Dead Girl Walking”.
The musical is a dark comedy musical about a teenage girl named Veronica Sawyer who joins the popular clique at her high school, but becomes disillusioned with their cruel behaviour. She teams up with a mysterious new student named J.D. to take down the Heathers and their oppressive social hierarchy. The musical deals with themes of teenage angst, peer pressure, and the dangerous consequences of seeking popularity at any cost.
