Exciting New Single ‘This Time’ Drops from The Time Traveller’s Wife: The Musical

Sony Masterworks Broadway has unveiled a breathtaking new single, ‘This Time,’ masterfully crafted by the talented Joss Stone and Dave Stewart. This sensational track, which is part of ‘The Time Traveller’s Wife: The Musical,’ is ready for fans to stream right now!

The song beautifully captures the essence of the romantic narrative of ‘The Time Traveller’s Wife.’ Its infectious melody, along with Stone’s tender vocal rendition, is bound to resonate with listeners, making it an instant classic. Stewart’s ability to weave emotional depth into pop has been recognized and lauded by many, including Stone.

Ahead of this, the musical’s original cast recording made its debut on 29 September, creating quite a buzz in the musical community.

The curtains are set to rise for preview performances of ‘The Time Traveller’s Wife’ at the renowned West End’s Apollo Theatre on 7 October, leading up to the much-anticipated official premiere on 1 November.

Inspired by Audrey Niffenegger’s bestselling novel and the cinematic interpretation by Bruce Joel Rubin, this story offers a unique twist on a traditional love narrative. The protagonist faces the unpredictability of her husband’s uncontrolled time travel. This stage adaptation, brought to life by Lauren Gunderson, features original music primarily by Stone and Stewart, enriched with contributions from Nick Finlow and Kait Kerrigan.

The stage will be graced by an ensemble of talented actors, including David Hunter, Joanna Woodward, Tim Mahendran, Hiba Elchikhe, and many others. The roles of Young Clare and Alba will be portrayed by a rotating cast, adding fresh dynamism to each performance.
