Elf The Musical will bring festive cheer back to London, with a limited season at the Aldwych Theatre from 28 October 2025 to 3 January 2026. The production opened on the West End this week, starring Welsh singer and TV presenter Aled Jones alongside theatre favourite Carrie Hope Fletcher.
Based on the 2003 film featuring Will Ferrell, the story follows Buddy the Elf, a human raised at the North Pole who travels to New York City to find his father and, in the process, helps everyone rediscover the spirit of Christmas. The stage version features a book by Thomas Meehan and Bob Martin, music by Matthew Sklar, and lyrics by Chad Beguelin.
Audiences can expect snow effects, sleigh rides, glittering sets, festive costumes, and big ensemble numbers. Performances run most evenings, with matinees on Thursdays and Saturdays, making it a family friendly option across the season.
Tickets are expected to move quickly for this holiday favourite. For information and bookings, visit elflondon.com.
