Digital Release Date Announced for Wicked Movie

Fans of Wicked can rejoice as Amazon Prime UK has confirmed the digital release date for the first part of the highly anticipated screen adaptation. The musical sensation, directed by Jon M. Chu and starring Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande, will be available to stream on Amazon Prime starting 3 January 2025 at 12:00 am GMT.

The film, based on Gregory Maguire’s bestselling novel Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West, tells the untold story of two university friends in Oz: one destined to become Glinda the Good and the other, the infamous Wicked Witch of the West.
