The announcement came from producers Max Martin, Tim Headington, Theresa Steele Page, Jenny Petersson, Martin Dodd, and Eva Price, who shared that the show hit this financial milestone as of April 14. ‘& Juliet’ opened at Broadway’s Stephen Sondheim Theatre on November 17, 2022, and stands out as the first new musical of the 2022-2023 season to announce recoupment.

Throughout its run, the musical has played 673 performances, consistently filling 95.5 percent of its seats with an average paid ticket price of $144.44. These impressive statistics underscore the show’s appeal and the robust demand from theatergoers. ‘& Juliet’ has maintained healthy grosses, a testament to its captivating story and dynamic musical numbers.

Joining this season’s successful productions like ‘Merrily We Roll Along,’ ‘An Enemy of the People,’ and ‘Gutenberg! The Musical,’ ‘& Juliet’ shines as a beacon of hope and revival for the Broadway community. The previous season saw musicals such as ‘Six’ and ‘MJ’ reaching similar milestones.
