Billy Porter and Marisha Wallace to Lead Cabaret in the West End

The West End revival of Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club is set to welcome an exciting new cast in January 2025, with Billy Porter and Marisha Wallace taking center stage as the Emcee and Sally Bowles.

Starting 28 January 2025, Porter, an Emmy, Grammy, and Tony Award-winning performer, and Wallace, a powerhouse vocalist and West End favorite, will bring their talents to this critically acclaimed production. The show, which first opened in 2021, continues to captivate audiences with its immersive setting and bold reimagining of the classic musical.

Stellar New Cast

Joining Porter and Wallace are Daniel Bowerbank as Clifford Bradshaw, Vivien Parry returning as Fraulein Schneider, Fenton Gray as Herr Schultz, Fred Haig as Ernst Ludwig, and Jessica Kirton as Fraulein Kost/Fritzie. Parry previously played Schneider in 2022 and will replace Sally Ann Triplett in the role.

Anne-Marie Wojna will serve as the alternate Sally Bowles for select performances, ensuring the production remains a standout experience throughout the run.

The ensemble cast includes Xenoa Campbell-Ledgister, Sam Darius, Damon Gould, Adrian Grove, El Haq Latief, Justin-Lee Jones, Ela Lisondra, Hícaro Nicolai, Andy Rees, Alexandra Regan, Marina Tavolieri, Patrick Wilden, Ben Simon Wilson, and Lucy Young.

The show’s immersive pre-performance prologue will feature Rachel Benson, Ami Benton, Onyemachi Ejimofor, Joseph Hardy, Liz Kamille, Andrew Linnie, Aine McLoughlin, Jack William Parry, Jazmyn Raikes, Oliver Stockley, and Ena Yamaguchi.

Directed by Rebecca Frecknall, this production of Cabaret is lauded for its innovative staging and intimate setting at the Kit Kat Club. The creative team includes set and costume design by Tom Scutt, choreography by Julia Cheng, lighting by Isabella Byrd, sound by Nick Lidster, and musical direction by Ben van Tienen.

The show’s current stars, Olivier Award nominee Adam Gillen and Golden Globe nominee Katherine Langford, will give their final performances on 25 January 2025 before Porter and Wallace take over.

Marisha Wallace will not appear on select dates, with Anne-Marie Wojna stepping in as Sally Bowles for those performances. Billy Porter is scheduled to perform at every show from 28 January to 24 May 2025.

For fans who can’t catch the West End production, a New York version of Cabaret is also running, featuring Adam Lambert and Auli’i Cravalho in their Broadway debuts.

Tickets for the West End run are on sale now, promising an unforgettable evening of iconic music, poignant storytelling, and stellar performances. Don’t miss your chance to visit the Kit Kat Club—where life is still beautiful.
