Ariana Madix to Reprise Role as Roxie Hart in Broadway’s ‘Chicago’

Ariana Madix, celebrated for her roles on television and stage, is set to return to the Broadway production of “Chicago” this summer. Following a record-breaking stint earlier in the year, Madix will again light up the stage as Roxie Hart at the Ambassador Theatre from August 1 through August 27.

Madix, widely recognized for her appearances on Bravo’s “Vanderpump Rules” and as a finalist on ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars,” made headlines during her extended debut in “Chicago.” She steps back into Roxie’s shoes, taking over from Bianca Marroquín. Outside her theatrical endeavors, Madix is also venturing into business, preparing to launch a sandwich shop in West Hollywood.

In an earlier discussion with The Broadway Show, Madix expressed her lifelong passion for musical theater, hinting at her return to the role. “Musical theater is what I’ve wanted to do my whole life,” she shared.

Joining her on stage will be Robyn Hurder as Velma Kelly, Max von Essen as Billy Flynn, Natasha Yvette Williams as Matron “Mama” Morton, Red Concepción as Amos Hart, and R. Lowe as Mary Sunshine. The cast will also see Jinkx Monsoon stepping into the role of “Mama” Morton from June 27 to July 12.

“Chicago,” now in its 27th year on Broadway, continues to captivate audiences under the direction of Tony Award winner Walter Bobbie and choreography by Tony Award winner Ann Reinking. The production, featuring a book by Fred Ebb and Bob Fosse, with music by John Kander and lyrics by Fred Ebb, remains one of the longest-running shows in Broadway history.
