An Evening Not to Miss: Olivier Award winner Tim Minchin announces exclusive London concert dates

A line-up of captivating concert dates featuring Olivier Award winner, Tim Minchin, has been unveiled. The unforgettable evenings are masterfully presented by Phil McIntyre Live, under the amusingly coy title, “An Unfunny* Evening with Tim Minchin and His Piano”. Though the asterisked disclaimer in the title modestly suggests the artist’s inability to guarantee inadvertent amusement, we suspect you might find yourself delightfully entertained.

Prepare to be enraptured as Minchin, the virtuoso, performs songs from his widely acclaimed 2020 studio album, “Apart Together”. As if that weren’t enticing enough, the evenings promise a sonic journey through Minchin’s illustrious career, featuring tunes from his iconic musicals – Matilda and Groundhog Day. Both shows currently hold court on London’s stage, their music a testament to Minchin’s extraordinary creative prowess.

The concert experience promises to delve even deeper into Minchin’s musical treasure trove, featuring numbers from his varied work in TV and film, and even revisiting his early songwriting days. This veritable feast of musical brilliance offers fans the opportunity to witness the full spectrum of Minchin’s talent.

In a thrilling twist, audience members may also be granted the privilege to cast their votes on a selection of song choices. Indeed, a most interactive and immersive concert experience awaits.

The 90-minute concerts, set to enthral and entertain, will be staged at the prestigious Lyric Theatre in the West End. Dates to note in your diary are the 4th, 11th, and 18th of June, and the 23rd of July, 2023.

An Unfunny Evening with Tim Minchin and His Piano promises to be anything but dull. The stage is set, the piano tuned, and all that’s missing is your presence. Join us for an evening of unparalleled musical mastery with Tim Minchin – we promise, it will be anything but unfunny.
