AussieTheatre is thrilled to be working with Arts Centre Melbourne to promote a special one night only event as part of the Extraordinary Shapes of Geoffrey Rush Exhibition, to bring our readers a chance to see Geoffrey Rush live!

Geoffrey Rush In Conversation will take place on Saturday July 27 at Arts Centre Melbourne’s Fairfax Studio, and we have 3 DOUBLE PASSES to give away to this special event. Hosted by ABC presenter Virginia Trioli, Rush will be discussing his theatre and film characterisations and sharing some fascinating insights and anecdotes from his impressive career to date in the 60 minute Q&A.

Rush was last seen on the Melbourne stage as Pseudolous in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, a role which earned him a 2013 Helpmann Award Nomination for Best Actor in a Musical (award ceremony will take place on Monday July 29).

Entries for this incredible giveaway close on Saturday 20 July and our three lucky winners will be notified via email/phone.

  • Saw Extraordinary Shapes of Geoffrey Rush Exhibition, last week when we went to see The Production Company's Gypsy, both were fantastic

  • I last saw Geoffrey Rush on the Stage in Exit the King on Broadway, NYC. he absolutely stole the show. Amazing energetic performance, we did not know how he did it! His co star Susan Sarandon seemed wooden in her role so it was Rush’s show all the way through. I was never so proud to be a Melbourne gal as that night. It rates as my most unforgettable Broadway experience which includes Jude Law as Hamlet, Ian McKellan as Lear and the ensemble cast of Whose Afraid of Virginia Wolf? with the inimitable Kathleen Turner who was made for that role! I would love to hear him speak any thing at all. Huge fan.
