AussieTheatre are proud to be supporting the new Australian musical Margaret Fulton: Queen of the Dessert, which opens this week at Theatre Works, St Kilda.
We have one double pass to give away to a lucky AussieTheatre reader for Tuesday 27 November.
Producer Sean Bryan says the musical, which starrs Amy Lehpamer (Rock of Ages) is not only about the surprising life story of Fulton – Australia's culinary qu
een – it is also about broader issues, including the role of the female in society.
“It’s much more about the history of Australia and how our tastes, culture and how our views on issues changed. Not just food — women, and the role of women in society and how Margaret Fulton seems to have been a catalyst for so many of these things.”
With live cooking onstage, singing and dancing by an ensemble of seven actors, Fulton is a musical like no other.
