Win a double pass to see The King and I, Brisbane

AussieTheatre has a double pass to give away to The King and I in Brisbane on Tuesday 15 April.

Lisa McCune and Teddy Tahu Rhodes will star in The King and I for Opera Australia.

Enter our competition to be one of the first in Australia to see Lisa McCune, Teddy Tahu Rhodes, Marty Rhone and Shu-Cheen Yu in this Tony Award winning musical.

The King and I was Rodgers and Hammerstein’s fifth musical together and is considered one of the jewels in their crown. Australia’s favourite leading lady Lisa McCune will play English governess Anna Leonowens opposite internationally acclaimed baritone Teddy Tahu Rhodes as The King of Siam in the Brisbane season. The pair are currently rehearsing for the Brisbane season, fresh from their success performing together in the national tour of South Pacific, also presented by Opera Australia and John Frost.

Directed by Christopher Renshaw, this production of The King and I was originally produced by John Frost in Adelaide in 1991, transferring to Broadway in 1996 and sweeping the Tony Awards.

Returning 23 years on with the same creative team (including musical director Peter Casey and Tony Award winning designer Roger Kirk) this revival features a cast of 34 plus two casts of 11 children in the Brisbane season.

Competition closes on Wednesday 10 April at 6pm AEST and winners will be notified via email/phone.
