Australia’s much-loved star of stage and screen, Daryl Somers, is set to return to the spotlight in a dazzling new production of the all-singing, all-dancing Broadway favourite: Hot Shoe Shuffle. The Triple Gold Logie-winning star of Hey Hey it’s Saturday, Family Feud and Dancing With the Stars joins a stellar cast for the debut production of South West Sydney’s newest independent theatre group Birdie Productions.

Hot Shoe Shuffle tells the story of seven brothers who must put together their father’s old club show to get their hands on the money he has left them in his will! With hurdles aplenty, pranks and pratfalls – and a newly-discovered sister into the bargain – the boys find out that the most important thing, after all, is family.

Luke Alleva We Will Rock You, The Rocky Horror Picture Show will head up the seven brothers in the role of Spring. Jay Johns (So You Think You Can Dance) plays “Slap” joining Sezgin Aygun, Samuel Boesen, Pauly Maybury, Jonathan Nash-Daly and Louis Vinciguerra. Erin Bruce staring in the only female role in the show, “April”.

“We have been inundated with exciting feedback since announcing Daryl’s involvement. With such a limited season, you have to get in early to avoid missing out!” says executive producer, Rodney Bertram.

Competition closes 20/4/15 at 6pm AEST. Winners will be contacted via email/phone.
