Win 1 of 2 Double Passes to UNFINISHED WORKS at Seymour Centre

Independent theatre company BONTOM will present new Australian drama, Unfinished Works, from 23 March to 2 April at the Reginald Theatre, Seymour Centre. Delivering an incisive portrayal of contemporary Sydney and its culture, Unfinished Works explores the sacrifices we make in the pursuit of our life’s work.

Famous artist Frank Ralcoh (played by Lucy Goleby) is a woman who has never separated her life from her art. Wildly successful, she has a reputation that precedes her. When Frank finds herself creatively blocked and unable to paint, she begins to worry that her entire body of work has been meaningless, and her life, pointless. To top it all off – so

me of her work has just been stolen.

When Frank meets university student and aspiring artist Isabel (Contessa Treffone), they hatch a plan to test the power of their art, and in the process change the course of their lives.

Written by Thomas De Angelis and directed by Clemence Williams, Unfinished Works will star Contessa Treffone (Minus One Sister, Griffin Theatre Company; Children of the Sun, Sydney Theatre Company), Lucy Goleby (Good Works, Darlinghurst Theatre Company), Deborah Galanos (Dropped, Old Fitz Theatre; The House of Ramon Iglesia, Old Fitz Theatre), Rhett Walton (The Worst Kept Secrets, BONTOM) and Kyle Kazmarzik (The Pride at Darlinghurst Theatre Company).

Founded by Sam Boneham and Thomas De Angelis, BONTOM creates new and original work for the stage and screen, while engaging and developing emerging talent. Recent productions by the company include The Worst Kept Secrets (2014) and Jack Killed Jack (2012).
