Win 1 of 2 double passes to Tribute at Adelaide Fringe Festival!

AussieTheatre has two double passes to give away to Tribute at the Tuxedo Cat, as part of Adelaide Fringe Festival, on Friday, 4 March.

Tribute: Ruth Wilkin presents a tribute…to tribute shows.

You know this story. [INSERT ARTIST] comes from humble beginnings. Then they break through with their unforgettable hit: [INSERT SONG]. It tops the charts. Then [ALBUM] breaks records. Then the lavish parties. Then come the scandals. The two-year marriages. The drugs. Then the single most important moment in an artist’s career: someone creates a fringe festival tribute show in their honour. Tribute is a tribute to those tribute shows.

Award-winning performer and writer, Ruth Wilkin is back at Adelaide Fringe with a delicious satire of songbook shows, tribute cabarets and celebrity life.  Tribute is an ingenious and self-aware hour of comedy cabaret characterised by Wilkin’s signature blend of witty songwriting, intelligent commentary and a healthy dose of self-deprecation.

Paying homage to Madonna, Whitney Houston, Cher and most importantly Every Tribute Show You’ve Ever Seen, it features all original music that you would swear you’ve heard somewhere before.

After taking out Best Cabaret at Melbourne Fringe 2012 and gaining a Best Cabaret nomination at Adelaide Fringe 2012 with Just A Little Something I’ve Been Working On (AKA Short + Sweet Cabaret) this show is guaranteed to be a great night out.

Competition closes on Tuesday March 1, at 5pm AEDT. Winners will be contacted directly via email/phone.
