AussieTheatre is very excited to have 2 double passes to giveaway for the first preview of Songs for the Fallen at The Old Fitzroy Theatre, Woolloomooloo, on the 30th of November.

The most famous and wealthy courtesan in Paris, Marie has been bedridden with consumption for four months. She gets out of bed, dons a frock, pops a bottle of champagne and sits alone for several hours to celebrate her birthday. She died 18 days later, aged 23…but Mademoiselle is not done yet.
Together with the audience, Songs for the Fallen will delve into Marie’s glamorous boudoir to celebrate the wild and unforgettable final birthday party Mar
ie never had.
Part vaudeville, part punk opera, part MTV-does-Baroque, Songs for the Fallen features an original electro-score by Basil Hogios (Andy X and How to Train Your Dragon) which will see the audience get down and dirty with Paris’ queen of the demimonde.
