ACTT Step into Acting course – CLOSED

AussieTheatre is thrilled to announce a partnership with the Actor’s College of Theatre and Television Sydney (ACTT) this month.

In conjunction with the ACTT, we have one FREE position in an acting course to giveaway to a lucky reader.

The ‘Step into Acting’ course at the Actors College of Theatre and Television in Sydney is an 11-hour acting course for beginners, taught over four sessions by ACTT’s leading teachers.

‘Step into Acting’ is well suited to the absolute beginner wishing to give acting a whirl, or to those who can’t commit to the full 8-week “Acting Essentials 1” course.

The beginners system is based around professional actors’ warm-up and confidence-building exercises and high-energy improvisation games. The focus of this mini-course is on having fun, building confidence and letting your imagination fly!

Value: priced at $325.
Timeline: Winner can use the pass for upcoming classes in Feb-March (see dates below).

Matt Edwards

Matt is a past owner of AussieTheatre, working as digital director from 2011 to 2019. He is also a performer, most recently appeared in the Australian tour of Mamma Mia! and previously in the Australian/NZ tour of CATS and Enda Markey's acclaimed production of Blood Brothers. As well as performing Matt keeps himself busy in the digital side of the arts working with web design agency Emptyhead Digital
