Young love, age-old hate: Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, with its star-cross’d lovers and universal themes of fateful passion and generational clash, is kaleidoscopically reimagined by Australia’s greatest choreographer. Graeme Murphy’s Romeo & Juliet is a heart-breaking masterpiece from first blush to final devastation.
Starring Madeleine Eastoe as Juliet and Kevin Jackson as Romeo, this production was filmed in 2011 at Arts Centre Melbourne with Orchestra Victoria.
