One of Australia’s most beloved stars of the stage is preparing to frock up as Edna Turnblad in Packemin Production’s Hairspray.
Ben Neutze spoke with Jon English, best known for his rock career and his roles in hits such as Jesus Christ Superstar and The Pirates of Penzance, about working in heels, making an unreal woman feel real and working with the cast and crew at Packemin.
