Vertical Shadows, a Melbourne based contemporary dance company who have become known for pushing the boundaries of dance both conceptually and artistically, focus on the theatrical side of dance.
Their latest offering, The White Prince, is currently playing at North Melbourne’s Meat Market and is set to be one of the most exciting works in the company’s six year history.
The White Prince features direction and choreography by Stephen Agislaou, and stars former Principal Dancer of The Australian Ballet Damien Welch and former Senior Artist of The Australian Ballet Marc Cassidy alongside contemporary goddess Teagan Lowe and newcomers Riley Fitzgerald and Joshua Hunt.
Belinda Strodder from dancephotography.net.au has generously supplied these stunning images, which capture some of the show’s intimate moments, for our AussieTheatre readers.
