AussieTheatre.com was thrilled to cover the TONY AWARDS live this year with tweets, articles and videos.

Australians all over the world were listening to and watching the awards to cheer on our very own Tony Sheldon, Tim Chappel and Lizzy Gardiner – all nominated for their work on Priscilla Queen of the Desert.

Although Tony Sheldon was pipped at the post by Norbert Leo Butz, we were thrilled to see him performing onstage with the Broadway cast of Priscilla.

We at AussieTheatre.com send our congratulations to Tim Chappel and Lizzy Gardiner for their win in the costume design category, and Tony Sheldon for his nomination in the Best Actor in a Musical category. Australia is proud of you all!!
