Your Sunday Afternoon Zen: Laura Bunting and Kerrie Anne Greenland sing a duet from Side Show, and it is EPIC!

The cult musical Side Show, inspired by the true story of conjoined twins Daisy and Violet Hilton, is currently playing at Hayes Theatre Co in Potts Point.

The show’s stars – Laura Bunting and Helpmann Award winner Kerrie Anne Greenland – have received glowing reviews for their performances and AussieTheatre’s reviewer Bec Caton praised the women as the driving energy behind the entire show.

“Bunting and Greenland have to, essentially, carry the whole show. They do it incredibly, together creating a touching and sisterly bond… The women captivate and astound with their dynamic and controlled vocal performance, particularly in their two belting ballads ‘Who Will Love Me As I Am?’ and ‘I Will Never Leave You’.” – AussieTheatre

Thankfully for musical theatre fans, the pair recorded one of the show’s iconic duets with the masterful pianist Michael Tyack on keyboard and have posted the track online.

If you haven’t had a chance to see the show, take a peek at this video (and then hurry up and buy a ticket, because the show closed on October 16!). If you have seen the show, this 2:55 clip is a glorious reminder of the impressive work both ladies do throughout the entire show, eight shows a week.

Happy Sunday, everyone!
