As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I always loved art and painting and drawing as a kid, but in high school thought that wouldn’t make much money so I then thought of being an Architect. I quit the Architecture course at uni on the third day!

Who is the most important person in the world to you?
My mum and dad. I was always encouraged to follow my dreams, whatever they were, which now as an adult, I see as the best gift they could have ever given me – Total freedom to do things that simply make me happy. They are always there for me!

What animal best represents you and why?
A Chameleon – always changing due to the nature of the biz.

If you were a contestant on Deal or No Deal, how much would you need to be on offer before you walked away?
Hmmm I am not a big risk taker, but I think it would have to get to double figures for sure.

What’s the worst date you’ve ever had?
The one that fell asleep!!

Windows or MAC?
I just made the big switch to Mac last week!! I know all Mac users say I will never look back, but right now… so confusing! They look really hot tho!

Which Spice Girl was your favourite?
Did not have one. Was not my thing

Who is the actor you would be most like to work alongside?
I worked on South Pacific – the film with Glenn Close, but we did not have any scenes together, so definitely her, or Sean Penn – such inspiring actors!

What five songs would be the first you put a mix tape?
I am having a Jazz phase at the moment..
1. Baby Its Cold Outside – Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Jordan
2. Moonglow – Billie Holiday
3. Somebody To Love – David Campbell
4. All The Lives Of Me – Peter Allen
5. My Funny Valentine – Chet Baker

What is the best thing about theatre in Australia?
The quality of the talent we have here and the work ethics, especially from the crew.

What is the worst thing about theatre in Australia?
Not enough to go around!!

Favourite food?
Hot Chips with salt and dark chocolate! I eat chocolate every night!

What would you do if you found a wallet on the ground?
Depends on the content… No, I’d contact the person of course, imagining they were going to be cute and we would live happily ever after.

What’s the worst job you’ve ever had?
Handing out free papers at Wynyard Station every Monday morning when I first moved to Sydney from home in the Hunter Valley, just to get $32 for food for the week.

What’s the first website you visit when you come online?
Sounds so wanky, but at the moment I keep checking my website as it is still being developed as I write this. Next is Aussietheatre, of course!

Name one moment when you looked around, breathed happily and felt content
On Holidays swimming in the ocean as the storm clouds roll in, by myself after just getting the call I got my first lead role – Malcolm in The Full Monty.

Red or white?
Nice Shiraz in winter, Sav Blanc in summer.

Where is the most interesting place you have travelled?
The fascinating Pompeii

Who is the most famous person you’ve ever met?
Liza Minnelli last week.

Where do you see yourself in five years?
Hopefully not handing out free papers at Wynyard Station on Monday mornings for grocery money!
