What’s a night out without show tunes, a piano and a bunch of random strangers? Not one we want to be a part of, that’s for sure.
Nestled in the heart of New York’s enchanting West Village is a basement piano bar so iconic, celebrities queue to get in. And for three nights only, New York’s iconic piano bar, Marie’s Crisis, is coming all the way to Melbourne to play especially for you.
In fact, they’re shipping us over two of their all-singing piano-playing entertainers: Kenney Green and Adam Tilford. There’s no set list, no stage, no microphone and no shooshing. Everyone’s welcome to sing their heart out, or just sip a bev in the background and enjoy the Broadway vibes. Plus, you can BYO food if you feel like doing dinner and a show.
Riotous and rambunctious, this communal sing along night features songs from musicals ranging from popular classics, such as Les Mis, Wicked, My Fair Lady, The Sound of Music and Grease, to the cult showtunes from the musicals of Stephen Sondheim — and everything in between.
Marie’s Crisis Pop-Up sold out in 2017, 2018 and 2023.
Get your jazz hands on some tickets before it sells out again.
