Who would you cast in an Australian production of Hadestown?

    I don’t think this is the most productive article. As much as we would love to see whomever cast in this wonderful show. By allowing the public to express their dream cast it can give a false impression to the public’s chosen actors and can also give a false impression to other actors of whom would love to be in the show. It can also start a comparison debate, which is not fair at all. A lot of the time, our industry is all about booking the gig or not booking the gig so we don’t need to foster any more environments for actors to potentially be ‘let down’ by a ‘dream casting’.

    I think there is a more positive way to celebrate this awesome show. E.g. Which theatre would you like to see it in? What’s your favourite song? Etc.
