We can not exist as artists if we do not actively engage in creating, supporting and finding ways to engage, write, produce, direct and perform Theatre in Australia. Global recession or not, taking responsibility for our work and seeking to ‘do’ and ‘participate’ and ‘support’ such activities as performance initiatives, playwrighting opportunities, script development, engaging in on-going professional skills training, doing workshops/masterclasses, networking with like-minded individuals and getting along to see local theatre when finances allow gives our Theatre the right kind of stimulus package that will Keep Theatre Working at numerous levels of the business. Look for those opportunities, see where you fit in, get involved and go for it!
