As the Global Economic Crisis continues to be a major talking point and problem around the world, its impact on Australia has been obvious.
Discretionary spending is obviously something that will be impacted by the crisis and therefore the theatre industry is at some risk.
At the height of the Keep Theatre Working campaign is this website, aimed at encouraging theatre fans and those in the industry itself to keep spending and offering a range of special discounts, challenges and other initiatives.
Other initiatives are also being worked on, including a Keep Theatre Working Networking Dinner which will aim to bring the industry together to hear expert opinions on marketing, branding and much more.
Keep Theatre Working - at its core - is about branding and the importance of the main message. We want to get the 'Keep Theatre Working' message out there, so people realise the importance of the term and the importance of keeping the industry strong.
